We are very grateful to the groups of business people throughout the West Midlands and Gloucestershire who regularly come together to raise awareness of and funds for Acorns.
The Acorns Business Club (or ABC) is a Birmingham based group chaired by Lorna Sheldon who organise events throughout the year. The Club is an excellent way to meet new people & business contacts in Birmingham.
Their most recent event was an extremely popular Professional Challenge, kindly sponsored by PWC & Teamwork Karting. The day was organised with considerable help from the wonderful team of business consultants at Action International. Smart New Homes were the winners of the cup this time around!
ABC has raised over £43,000 for Acorns over the last five years and in 2006/7 aims to raise even more to fund a specialist Acorns Nurse. |
