“I’m guaranteed to find a bargain at an Acorns charity shop while at the same time I know I’m helping to raise money for such a worthwhile cause”.
Acorns has 43 shops across the region from Rugeley and Nuneaton in the North, to Ross-on-Wye and Hereford in the South. They are run by paid members of staff but rely on a team of vital volunteers for support.
Acorns has the largest retail chain among children’s hospices and our shops make a huge contribution towards funding Acorns’ services.
We sell a whole range of quality used goods from clothing to toys and books to dvds; we also sell new goods such as Christmas cards, greetings cards and gifts in many of our shops.
Friendly retail staff are always happy for customers to come in, have a chat and find out more about what we do.
Acorns shops continue to make a positive difference to the environment by encouraging donations of high-quality stock, enabling them to raise funds and recycle goods at the same time.
They have also recently undertaken disability discrimination audits aiming to improve the service offered to less able customers. |
