The Hospices Lottery

     

The Hospices Lottery is a separate company that is jointly owned by Acorns Children’s Hospice & St. Richard’s Hospice . It was established in 1999 as a weekly cash lottery and is the only joint venture between the two hospices.

How much does it cost and how do you pay & play?

It costs £1 a week and you can pay in cash, by cheque, standing order, credit or debit card. When you join you are issued with a unique 5 digit number, providing you have paid in advance of the draw, your number will be entered into the draw for the number of weeks that you have paid. Just call us to join today, on 01905 760909, it couldn’t be simpler.

The draw takes place on a Friday morning at The Hospices Lottery office in Worcester.

Winners are selected at random by the lottery computer.

 

    

How do I claim if I have won?

There is no need to claim, if you win one of the top 3 prizes we will try and contact you by telephone. However, all the prizes are sent out automatically. If you wish to check your number a full list of winners is available at St. Richard’s & Acorns shops or at the lottery office. Top 3 numbers are in the local press.  
     

Where does all the money go?

 

All of the profits are divided equally between the two hospices. Last year we raised a profit of £156,455. This year we hope to increase that figure to just over £160,000.
