A scenic cycle event – Sunday 22nd August 2010

Registration for this event has now closed. A BIG thank you to everyone who has signed up to take part - we look forward to seeing you on the day! Please check back soon for information about the 2011 event.

Join our brand new sponsored cycling challenge on 22nd August and raise vital funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice!

Choose from a demanding 10 mile or 20 mile cycle and take on the challenge of the hills and countryside. Challenge yourself, get fit, have a great day out or celebrate the memory of someone special as you cycle over demanding terrain through the picturesque Severn Valley.

The routes depart from Bridgnorth (20 mile route) and the Severn Valley Country Park (10 mile route) and pass Arley Arboretum, Acorns Memorial Wood and the Wyre Forest before reaching the finish line in Bewdley. Once you complete the challenge you can celebrate your achievement by enjoying a leisurely steam train ride on the Severn Valley Railway back to your start point. (Train fare included in your entry fee). Download the route map here.

A great way to get fit and enjoy the countryside, you can take your time and even stop for a picnic halfway if you fancy!
