Make a donation to Acorns Chidren's Hospice in their memory

Many donations that come to Acorns Children’s Hospice are made in memory of a loved one, perhaps in lieu of flowers at a funeral, or simply to remember a birthday or anniversary of someone who has passed away.

Donations made in memory are a very poignant way to remember someone special, while also helping to raise money for 640 local children with life limiting or life threatening conditions, and their families. It costs £750 to provide a full day of specialist care for a child or young person in one of our three hospices.

How to make a donation in memory

There are several ways to make a donation in memory of your loved one.

Donate online

You can easily donate online using your credit or debit card. Please kindly remember to complete the comment box with the name of loved one you are donating in memory of.

Donate by post

Send a cheque or postal order made payable to ‘Acorns Children’s Hospice’ to: In Memory Assistant, FREEPOST RRAL-YAJG-BEAG, Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust, Birmingham, B47 6JR. (Please remember to include the name of the person you are remembering as well as your name and address so that we can thank you for your donation).

Donate over the phone

JustGiving In Memory
You can create an in memory page on JustGiving, where you can talk about the person you’re remembering (using words, photos and videos) and explain why you’re raising money in their memory. Your friends and family can give directly to your page easily, safely and securely, wherever they are, whenever they want to. Together you can make a real difference in memory of your loved one. Whether you have already donated in memory of a loved one or not, you could allow your gift to grow by opening a special Golden Oak Tribute Fund in their name. If you choose to donate in your loved one’s memory on special occasions, we can add it to their Golden Oak Tribute Fund.

If you are an Acorns family please contact our In Memory Assistant or your Community Team Worker to find out about our special Daisy Chain Tribute Funds - something special for families of children who have been cared for at Acorns.
