BRMB’S JO & SPARKY GET ARTISTIC WITH ACORNS

BRMB drivetime presenters Jo & Sparky joined an arts and craft session at our hospice in Selly Oak last week. While creating their works of art Jo and Sparky, who are hosting our Midnight Walk this year, saw first-hand the difference our hospices make to children across the heart of England.
The duo spent time with children and staff, taking part in an arts activity, ahead of the Midnight Walk on 17th September. The event has been heavily supported by BRMB for the last two years with promotion and entertainment on the night. This year, Jo and Sparky will help warm up the crowd in Victoria Square before joining the hoped for 1,500 female-only participants as they walk a 10km route round the city centre.
Jo says: “It was fantastic to be able to spend time with the children and see first-hand the amazing work Acorns does. The Midnight Walk is one night that can make a big difference to the lives of hundreds of children and their families. It was a fantastic atmosphere last year. I’d encourage as many women as possible to come along and be part of something special this year and help raise vital funds for a very worthwhile cause."
