Santas on the Run

Huge thanks to over 300 Santas who turned out in force at Brindleyplace in Birmingham and Walsall Arboretum on 3rd and 4th December. An amazing £15,000 was pledged to support our vital care services for life limited and life threatened children across the heart of England – a fantastic achievement!

Your sponsorship

Thank you to everyone who already sent in their sponsorship money. It costs £32 for us to be able to provide one hour of care for a local child with a life limiting condition. Every penny and pound raised by you helps.

If you still have sponsorship money to send please send it to Santas on the Run, Acorns Children’s Hospice, Drakes Court, Alcester Road, Wythall, Birmingham, B47 6JR. Cheques should be made payable to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The event

Santas on the Run is a fun run where participants can run, walk or jog a 3km route dressed in a Santa Suit! We hold events in Birmingham and Walsall. All runners are asked to raise sponsorship for Acorns to help continue its vital work. Dates for 2012 will be confirmed soon.

Not a runner?

Our Santas on the Run events are reliant upon a large group of enthusiastic volunteers to be a success. We would love to hear from anyone who can help marshal at our events.
