
Terms & Conditions
By participating in the Triple Run you are deemed to agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Participants in the Half Marathon must be aged 17 years or over on the date of the event.
Participants in the 1km fun run or 5km fun run under the age of 12 on event day must be accompanied by a participating adult, who will take full responsibility for them throughout the event.
An entry form must be completed for every participant (photocopies accepted), and the full entry fee must accompany each form.
Unsigned forms will not be accepted.
Your entry and fee are neither refundable nor transferable. Entry fees cover the administration and organisation costs of the event.
Each participant is requested to raise additional sponsorship for Acorns Children’s Hospice. Fundraising is essential in raising income from this event to help Acorns continue its vital work with children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions.
Once registered, you will receive confirmation of your place.
Participants must follow instructions from members of the marshalling team at all times throughout the event.
Fundraising from this event will not be restricted to a particular hospice or function.
Acorns reserve the right to cancel, postpone or change the format of the event where this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
The closing date for all entries is Friday 15th June 2012.
Registrations are not permitted on event day.
On signing up for the Triple Run you agree to do so at your own risk.
Acorns Children’s Hospice shall not accept liability for any injury to person as a result of participation in the event (except where Acorns Children’s Hospice is legally responsible for such injury to a person).
Furthermore, Acorns Children’s Hospice shall not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to participants, property or property belonging to third parties howsoever this may arise
You are medically fit and know of no medical reason why you may not participate in the run.
You consent that photographs or videos taken during the run may be used to publicise this event and the work of Acorns generally.
