The managers across the hospices provide annual mandatory training for Fire Regulations, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety. At Acorns we also have a Head of Learning and Development who co-ordinates an additional range of courses working closely with the specialists across Acorns and, where appropriate, external trainers.
