Congratulations and thank you to the 42 brave supporters who completed the Acorns Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle Challenge raising over £105,000 for Acorns!
Between them the team cycled an incredible 16,800km in November 2011! The challenge saw the group brave soaring temperatures and monsoon rains, visit historic Angkor Wat, cycle through the Vietnamese jungle and teach English at an orphanage.
For some of the group, the cycle challenge was followed by a three day community project working towards improving the lives of local children at an orphanage in Siem Reap.
Photos of the trip can be seen at the Acorns Facebook page.
If you fancy a challenge of your own, why not join the Acorns Inca Trail Trek, Acorns London to Paris Cycle Challenge or one of many other international treks and challenges!

This cycle challenge, exclusively for Acorns supporters, gave the opportunity to experience the breathtaking scenery of two of South East Asia’s most fascinating countries as cyclists wind their way through its rural communities. Covering 400km from Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City the route passed through the rice-paddies and waterways of the beautiful Mekong Delta and on into Cambodia to one of the most impressive sights in Southeast Asia, the Royal Temples of Angkor Wat. A unique perspective on a diverse culture. Long days were spent in the saddle but were rewarded with fantastic scenery, ancient temples, friendly locals and a great team spirit!
