Warriors Charity Match

We recently benefitted from a packed house at Sixways for Worcester Warriors’ annual charity match on Tuesday 27th December.

The big Aviva Premiership game against Leicester Tigers drew a crowd of 12,024, with funds being raised for two local causes – Acorns and the Warriors Community Foundation.

The players also showed their support by playing in a charity shirt (pictured below) designed by local schoolgirl Alice Scarrott. A limited number of 100 shirts were made available to order on a first come, first served basis from the Sixways Store. After the match, the shirts were signed by the players and auctioned to raise funds for our charity and the Warriors Community Foundation.
