Acorns and Aston Villa Football Club

Aston Villa Football Club has supported Acorns since 2006 and has a long-standing relationship with the charity with the Acorns logo adorning the club’s shirts between 2008-2010.

Acorns Children’s Hospice has been one of the club’s official Charity Partners for the 2019/20, 2020/21, and the 2021/22 seasons. The partnership aims to raise awareness of Acorns work caring for children and families across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Over the years, Aston Villa players have also taken the time to visit the children and families who use Acorns, bringing smiles to their faces and those of our hard working staff. Most memorable for all was when Villa became the first Premier League club to forego a main shirt sponsor fee and place our charity name on their shirts for free.
