Acorns Business Club prize draw – Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of this prize draw is Acorns Children’s Hospice, registered charity number 700859 of Drakes Court, Alcester Road, Wythall, Birmingham, B47 6JR (“the Charity”).
2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Charity, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
4. Participants can enter into the free prize draw by completing the ‘Enter Acorns Business Club Prize Draw’ form. Participants must complete the form each month, to be entered into each month’s prize draw.
5. The opening date for entries will be the first Monday of each month. The closing date of the prize draw is the last Friday of each month. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
6. The winner will be chosen at random, from all entrants in the draw, supervised by an independent person on the first Wednesday of each month (“Draw Date”).
7. The winner will receive a choice of the three prizes outlined on the ‘Business Club Prize Draw’ page each month. There will only be one winner and only one prize may be chosen. The prize is subject to availability. No monetary value can be given in exchange for this prize and the prize cannot be transferred.
8. The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 48 hours. If the winner does not respond to the Charity within 5 days of being notified by the Charity, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Charity will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
9. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
10. The Charity reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Charity’s control makes it necessary to do so.
11. The decision of the Charity regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
12. The winner’s names and county can be obtained by sending an email to supporterservices@acorns.org.uk within 28 days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.
13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Charity reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
14. The Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Charity, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Charity, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
16. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
17. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal details will only be used for marketing purposes if you have consented to receive future marketing from the Charity (you may have already done this if you have registered your details with us previously). Click here for our privacy statement 
18. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
    
    
19. Acorns Children’s Hospice will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
    
    
20. Acorns Children’s Hospice reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website
    
    
21. Acorns Childrens Hospice reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition.
