Monday 15th to Sunday 21st May 2023
No matter whoever and wherever you are, we are taking the time during this special week to tell you how amazing you are. If you donate money, take part in fundraising events, volunteer your time, are a customer in our shops, or if you spread the good news about the work Acorns does then THANK YOU. You make a huge difference to the lives of local children and their families.
Without your support over the last year, we wouldn’t have been able to deliver the vital care we provide to families across the West Midlands. You’re a part of something very special and it deserves to be recognised.
By being by our side, you’ve helped us be there for any child or family that needed our vital love, care, and support – children and families just like Isla-Rae’s, Haniya’s and Harry and George’s. Click on each image below to be taken to their in depth care stories.
“Having somewhere like Acorns meant the world to us. We only used Acorns for about two years, but I can’t thank them enough. From the first moment we visited, we felt welcome straight away.”
Leah, Isla-Rae’s mum
“Every single person at the hospice just cares so much. From the nurses, to the gardeners, to the chefs, they just want to help. You can tell that they would do anything for you and your child to bring a bit of happiness into your life”
Liz, Harry and George’s mum
“Acorns isn’t just there for me and Haniya. Acorns is there for all of us. Acorns is a place for all my children. We love the family swims. I can’t take Haniya to a public pool, so my girls love coming here with her. It’s helping to make a lot of memories.”
Shabana, Haniya’s mum
