Make a Will Month

Every year law firms around the UK take part in make a Will month to try to raise awareness of the importance of making a Will.

In order to do this, they offer to draw up Wills at a reduced rate throughout the month while at the same time supporting their chosen charities.

Once again this October, Acorns Make a Will Month scheme will return. If you'd like to get involved, either as a supporter or a law firm, please see below.

Law firm

What is it?

Our Make a Will Month scheme is designed to offer our supporters the opportunity to have a Will drawn up in exchange for a voluntary donation towards our work.

All law firms that take part in this scheme during October will offer their Will writing service free of charge for our supporters. They will be listed on our webpage so that our supporters will have the option to select their preferred law firm. We will then forward referrals onto the appropriate law firm.

Benefits to you?

  • Opportunity to expand your client portfolio, as clients will often continue to engage with the same solicitor for help in other areas of legal support
  • Promotion of your firm through our website, as part of our Make a Will Month marketing
  • By supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice you will be helping us continue to provide vital care to local life limited or life threatened children
