Moin's Story

Acorns Ambassador Moin recently won Teenager of Courage at the Pride of Birmingham Awards for refusing to let his serious illness stop him campaigning to help others.

Watch the video below to see how Moin refuses to let his daily problems and pain get in the way of fulfilling his dreams and ambitions.

We have helped care for Moin and supported his family since he was a baby. This care would not be possible without your help.

How your gift is used

Whatever you give will make a difference right across our three hospices and enable us to continue to provide emergency care, complementary therapy, family support and end-of-life care as well as helping children live life to the full by providing experiences that are educational, therapeutic and fun.

£5

£10

£15

could help us provide specialist therapies for life limited children such as hydrotherapy and physiotherapy

could help pay for an hour of specialist respite care or short break for a child in one of our hospices

could help pay for a specialist nurse to provide vital care in the family home through our outreach services

It costs almost £10million a year to run our care services in the hospices and community, providing care for the child and support for families. Acorns relies heavily on the community to fund the majority of its activities.

Together, we can continue to support all the families that need us in your local area.
