Enter your pet and support local children’s hospice care
To celebrate National Pet Month this April, we’re holding a pet show for all your furry friends!
Julie, who is a physiotherapist at our hospice in Birmingham, will be judging this year’s show.
First, second and third prize winners in each category will receive an Acorns Pet Show rosette and certificate. A Best in Show overall winner will also be chosen from all of the entries, which will be awarded a Best in Show rosette, certificate and a voucher for a custom digital pet portrait courtesy of Beca McKay.
The categories are:
- Grumpiest Pet
- Cutest baby
- Best friends
- Funniest pet
- Best Furry Friend
How it works
To be in with a chance of winning, simply submit a photo of your pet into one of our five categories along with a minimum donation of £3 by Friday 30th April. It’s the ‘purrrfect’ way to support your local children’s hospice.
Terms and conditions
You can enter as many times as you like, but it is a minimum donation of £3 for each entry. The closing date is midday on Friday 30th April. Entries received after this time will not be eligible. The judge’s decision is final and will be announced on Friday 7th of May. The names of the winning pets and a copy of their photo will be shared on social media and in an email communication to all entries. Details of how we protect and use your personal data can be found here.
The difference your money makes
Your fundraising will go directly to supporting our vital children’s hospice care. Each year over 780 local children and their families rely on our support and in turn we rely on people like you to fund our services.
£40 could pay for an hour of one to one nursing care for a child
£50 could help us stay in close communication with families through these uncertain times, remaining a lifeline on the end of the phone
£100 could pay for a family to stay overnight at Acorns when their child needs emergency hospice care
