Join us for a bubble-filled event and support your local children’s hospice.
Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – It’s not a race! Run, walk, jog, skip or toddle your way around our family-friendly course and take on four coloured bubble stations filled with foamy fun. The course is two laps of the grounds, so you can have double the incredi-bubble fun! Frothy fun for ALL the family at Bubble Rush there’s no age limit! The course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly so everyone can take part.
Your ticket price covers the cost of putting on the event, so anything you raise in sponsorship will go directly to Acorns Children’s Hospice. Whilst there is no official minimum fundraising target, by signing up for this event, you are agreeing to try and raise just £15.00 per person.
Acorns Bubble Rush – Postponement
David Levick, Events Manager at Acorns, said: “Following the MET Office’s extreme heat weather warning for this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Acorns Bubble Rush, which was due to take place at Sandwell Valley Country Park this Sunday 17th July.
“We are sorry this is disappointing news and for any inconvenience caused, but as with any event for Acorns, the health and safety of participants, our employees and our volunteers, is always our first priority.
“Acorns Bubble Rush raises vital funds towards our care for life limited and life threatened children, so to have to cancel this event is disappointing.
“Everyone who registered has been notified, with those still wishing to take part will be notified of a new date in the coming weeks.”

We would love you to raise as much as you can by taking part in this event! Your registration fee only covers the cost of putting the event on, so anything you can raise will go directly to helping local children and their families who rely on Acorns for support every day! Bubble Rush is taking place at: Sandwell Valley Country Park, Salter’s Lane, West Bromwich B71 4BG
The course itself is only 2.5km long but participants will have the option to do one or two laps of the course.
The following is included in this event:
– An energetic & fun warm up to get you ready for your coloured bubble run
– A 5km route for double the fun! You can also choose to run the route once (2.5k) if you prefer
– Everyone taking part will receive a t-shirt (except for under 3’s)
– A Bubble Rush medal when you cross the finish line
– Live entertainment throughout the day
– Food, drink, ice cream, merchandise and more will also be available to purchase
No, please ensure you keep your change of clothes, picnics or larger items in your vehicles or leave them with any spectators that are joining you. Personal items such as phones and wallets should be kept on you.
