Take the plunge and join us for this once in a lifetime opportunity while helping Acorns to support children with life limited and life threatening conditions.
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the distant field below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – freefalling through the air at over 120mph! Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, your fall slows and you gently return to earth. Sounds like fun?
Here’s how you can get involved…
Participants are required to pay a £50 registration fee to secure your place, and raise a minimum sponsorship of £450, part of which is used to cover the cost of your skydive.

Making every day count for local children
We can only continue providing care, support, fun and laughter for local life limited and life threatened children with your support. Did you know? When you fundraise £100 it could pay for three children to have a half hour physiotherapy session. Our specialist physiotherapists make sessions enjoyable for children while ensuring they get real benefits, including pain relief, improving stiff muscles and helping with breathing problems.

Frequently asked questions
The minimum age for any parachute activity is 16 years (subject to a signed permission form from a parent or guardian).
There is no maximum age for tandem skydiving, however, anyone over 70 will require form 115B signed by a GP and will need to have an assessment carried out by the Chief Skydive Instructor. We recommend this is carried out before you book, please contact the skydive office on 01948 841111 for further advice and to schedule an assessment.
The maximum weight is 15 stone (95kg) clothed and is relative to your height. Please see the tandem weight limits for the airfield here. For any queries relating to age, height, weight or fitness to jump, please call the airfield on 01948 841111.
We require £400 sponsorship money no later than 1 week in advance of your skydive date – part of which will be used to cover the cost of your jump. The final sponsorship installment of a minimum of £50 should be received two weeks after your skydive.
In the case of bad weather Skydiving Centre reserve the right to change the date of the skydive. All deposits and payments made will be transferred to an alternative date.
