Unleash your creative side by entering our Summer Splash Photography Competition
Grab your camera and make a splash for your local children’s hospice this Summer
There are two main prize categories available, so grab your camera (or smartphone) and get snapping. You might be inspired by the beauty of a local duck pond or lake or perhaps it’s a coastal view on your summer holidays. Or maybe you want to capture the energy and excitement of a water fight with the kids in the garden.
Whatever you decide to photograph, we just ask that water features somewhere in your photo for your entry to be valid.
To be in with a chance of winning, simply submit your photo along with a minimum donation of £3 by Monday 23rd August on the Give Penny page here. Every entry will make sure that Acorns can support life limited and life threatened children and their families.
We are shore your photos will make waves – we can’t wait to sea them!

The difference your money makes
Many of the children who come to Acorns use have limited mobility, so their joints and muscles become very stiff which causes great discomfort. We relieve this with physiotherapy and our hydrotherapy pools allow us to do this in a more effective way.
This summer you can make a splash for local children by helping to support our vital hydrotherapy pools and physiotherapists.
£25 could pay for sensory lights to provide a relaxing environment
£50 could pay for flotation devices to support a child in the water
£120 could pay for a family to have a complete hydrotherapy session with an Acorns physiotherapist
