“The firewalk taught me a lot about willpower and that with mind over matter, you can do things you couldn’t believe you would! It was a big challenge for me, but at the front of my mind was the fact that this was a very small thing indeed compared to what the families at Acorns go through, and the staff and volunteers. It was very humbling and a terrific way to help raise funds. Thank you again for the opportunity to do this.”

Our Care

It currently costs £35 for an hour of care for a child in one of our hospices.

Although your registration fee will go part way to helping cover the costs of the event, it is through sponsorship monies raised by people like yourself that we are able to provide vital care for local life limited children and support for their families, including those who are bereaved.
