Thousands of pounds worth of damage caused at Acorns Kings Heath shop during break-in
Our charity shop in Kings Heath was broken into overnight on June 7 into June 8, with thieves causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Acorns CEO Toby Porter visited the charity shop on Tuesday morning where he expressed his anger and sadness at the shop being broken into overnight. Thieves caused thousands of pounds worth of damage and even emptied the collection tin.
The local community has rallied to the aid of Acorns and a JustGiving page has raised thousands for the local children’s hospice charity.
