Come out on 18th May for Aston Villa FC Women vs AFC Man City Women match at Villa Park, where Acorns is the chosen charity. Our amazing volunteers will be there collecting on the day so make sure to bring a pound to the ground.

How your donation helps

In the past year, Acorns has cared for 750 children and nearly 1,000 families across our region.

It costs £27,000 per day to provide our services and it is only with your support that we can be there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for children who need specialist nursing care. Your generous donation has the power to make an impact on someone’s life.

£5 could allow us to provide lunch and dinner for a family member at Acorns.

£10 could fund art supplies for a session of specialist craft play and memory making.

Bubble Rush is even bigger and bubblier this year

Join us for a fantastic bubble-filled day and support local children and families.

Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – it’s not a race! Run, walk, jog, skip or toddle your way around our family-friendly course and take on four coloured bubble stations filled with foamy fun. The course is two laps, so you can have double the incredi-bubble fun!

Bubble Rush’s foamy run is suitable for the whole family – there’s no age limit and the course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly so everyone can take part in our bubbly activities!

There are two wave times for you to choose from. We ask that you arrive one hour prior to your wave time to check in and warm up before it starts.

How long is the course?

The course itself is approximately 2.5km long but you’ll do this twice for double the incredi-bubble fun! If just one lap suits your group, then that is also fine.

What's all included?

Do you have a bag drop?

There will be no bag drop available on the day. Please ensure you keep your change of clothes, picnics or larger items in your vehicles or leave them with any spectators that are joining you. Personal items such as phones and wallets should be kept on you.

GLOW THE DISTANCE for local children and families!

Bring together your friends, families and colleagues for Acorns’ brightest event! Put on your brightest gear, deck yourself out with glow sticks and fairy lights and shine bright around our fun 2.5km or 5km route at Walsall Arboretum and Lake.

By taking part in this incredible challenge and joining #TeamAcorns, you will be raising money for life limited and life threatened babies, children and young people across the West Midlands.

Join #TeamAcorns for the fourth year running of Run Solihull Half Marathon and 10k, and join thousands of your fellow runners in chasing down a personal best along closed roads. By joining, you’ll be raising money for life limited and life threatened babies, children, and young people across the West Midlands.

Starting and finishing in Malvern Park, in Solihull Town Centre, this is a unique opportunity to run a 10k or half marathon around the closed roads of Solihull.
