Thank you very much for choosing to make a donation to Acorns. Whatever you donate will be put to good use immediately and will make a difference to the children and families that use Acorns’ services.
You can donate in the following ways:
Option 1: Make a single donation online

Option 2: Set up a regular donation
Are you able to pledge an amount of money each month to help us continue providing our vital services to Acorns children? Giving regularly to Acorns enables us to plan for the future, and we have a membership for these supporters called Friends of Acorns. Apply here to set up a regular donation to Acorns

Option 3: Donate by text message
We now have several ways that you can support us via your mobile:-
VILLA APPEAL Text AVFC12 to 70070 followed by your chosen donation amount (eg. AVFC12 £10)
WARRIORS APPEAL Text WRFC16 to 70070 followed by your chosen amount (eg. WRFC16 £10)
GENERAL APPEAL Text ACRN11 to 70070 followed by your chosen amount (eg. ACRN11 £10)
Acorns can now receive 100% of your donation via JustTextGiving. Denominations available are £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.

Please remember to include reference number ACHTWEB on the back of your cheque or postal order. The cheque should be made payable to Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust. Please note that if you do use a stamp on your envelope, more of your donation can be used to support our children and families.
Option 5: Donate by phone
If you would like to make a donation over the phone please have your credit or debit card details at the ready and call our Finance Team on 01564 82 5000. Our office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Option 6: Donate goods
Another way you can help is by having a clear out of your cupboards and bringing any unwanted items to your local Acorns shop to help keep us well stocked with items to sell.

Gift Aid
You can now increase the value of your donation by almost a third – at no extra cost to you – by simply saying yes to Gift Aid. Please tick the appropriate box on the online donation form or ask Acorns how you can Gift Aid your donation. Please note that you must pay an amount of Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax we reclaim on your donations (25p for every £1 you give).
