The route
The Hackney Half Marathon route starts and finishes near Hackney Marshes, taking runners through a lively mix of East London streets and green spaces.
The course passes areas including Homerton, Hackney Central, Hackney Downs, Dalston, Haggerston, London Fields and Victoria Park before heading back towards Hackney Wick and the finish. Along the way, participants can expect a mostly urban route with several park-side sections and a relatively steady elevation profile across the 13.1 miles.
Accessibility
- Day chairs are welcome. The course is not suitable for racing wheelchairs due to road conditions, speed bumps and surface changes. Please specify when you register.
- If you would like to request a support runner, please contact the event organisers: hello@hackneymoves.com
