Take part in Run Alton Towers, one of the UK’s most unique and exhilarating running events. Race alongside Britain’s most iconic rides at Alton Towers Resort – the UK’s number one theme park!
Join #TeamAcorns for an unforgettable day at Run Alton Towers, where you’ll lace up your running shoes in a truly legendary setting. Home to record-breaking rollercoasters, CBeebies Land, Sharkbait Reef by SEALIFE, and incredible family attractions, Alton Towers Resort is the ultimate destination for thrill-seekers and families alike.
Spanning over 500 acres with 10 fantastically themed areas, the park is built around the historic Towers, dating all the way back to 1810 – making this run a one-of-a-kind experience steeped in both fun and history.

We are thrilled to offer a limited number of race entries this year! To claim yours, simply commit to a fundraising target to support Acorns. Your charity entry includes:
- An Acorns running vest
- Bespoke support from our specialist Events team to help with your training and fundraising
- A fundraising pack, bursting full of the essentials to kick start your fundraising
- A unique themed medal
- Official chip time results
- Post race goodies
- Free official race day photos
* 50% of this your fundraising must be raised one month before the event (14 October 2026). Failure to do this may result in you losing your running place.
25% of this sponsorship must be raised one week before the event (7 November 2026).
The remaining 25% of this sponsorship must be received by Acorns no later than one week after the event date (21 November 2026).

If you already have a place, you can still join #TeamAcorns and help to raise funds for local children and families. Our Events team will be on hand to support you throughout.
