How much does it cost?
Each entry costs just £1 per week, paid in advance by subscription only
How do you pay & play?
For each £1 entry you take, a unique lottery number is randomly allocated to you. This number remains yours and will be entered into the draw every Friday for as long as you play the lottery.
53 guaranteed prizes are paid out every week including a top prize of £1,000 which is increased twice a year to £2,500 in our super draws.
Weekly prizes
1st = £1,000
2nd = £150
3rd = £50
and 50 x £10 prizes to be won.
How do I claim if I win?
There is no claiming involved, all cheques are sent out automatically. The results are available on their web page, they are also published in the Birmingham Evening Mail each Saturday or we can email them to you, simply call 01564 825047.
Where does all the money go?

Worcestershire Hospices Lottery is your local lottery, offering you an excellent chance to help Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust, St Richard’s Hospice and Primrose Hospice to raise much needed funds. You get the opportunity to win a cash prize of up to £500 each week, or our roll-over prize which can reach £5,000!
Money raised will be used for the sole benefit of the hospices to contribute towards their day to day running costs.

How much does it cost?
There is a weekly prize fund of £850 and it costs £1 per week to play. You can pay by cheque or direct debit.
How do you pay & play?
When you join, you are issued with a unique lottery number. Providing you have paid in advance of the draw, your number will be entered for the number of weeks you have paid. Winners are selected at random by the lottery computer. The draw takes place weekly.
How do I claim if I have won?
There is no need to claim; if you win the top prizes, we will contact you by telephone. All prizes are sent out automatically. See the full list of winners here.
What are my odds?
In 2023, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 124 in our regular weekly lotteries and 1 in 221 in our seasonal Bumper Draw. Players in our weekly lotteries and the seasonal Bumper Draws are also automatically entered into a weekly Rollover draw.
Our Rollover prize increases by £100 each week it isn’t won (in 2023, the likelihood of winning was, on average, 1 in 399,144) and if it reaches £5,000, then one lucky player will be guaranteed to win that week (when the likelihood of winning reverts to the aforementioned weekly lottery and seasonal Bumper Draw averages).
Where does all the money go?
In 2023, £412,237.00 was raised from ticket sales in our regular weekly lotteries and seasonal Bumper Draws, with 12.27% being spent on Prizes, 38.92% spent on expenses and 48.81%* used to fund the hospices’ care of patients and their families.This translated to a fantastic £201,224.86 (based upon the Lottery Submissions made to the Gambling Commission during the 2023 calendar year)!
*The percentage used to fund hospice care for patients and families is lower this year due to a “player recruitment campaign” that will benefit the hospices in the longer term.
