Following the success of last year’s event, we’re thrilled to invite you to our second Acorns Corporate Golf Day on Friday 27th June. Enjoy a spectacular day of golf, networking, and fundraising!
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a keen beginner, this is your chance to make a difference for local children while teeing off at the beautiful Walmley Golf Club. Don’t miss this hole-in-one opportunity!
Walmley Golf Club is a beautiful parkland course located in the Sutton Coldfield area of the West Midlands. Golf has been played at Walmley for over 121 years and the superbly presented course is an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfer, with a newly refurbished clubhouse giving great views of the first hole, the 9th, and the 18th green, the perfect place to relax after the competition.
Itinerary
10.00am: Arrive at Walmley for registration and enjoy freshly made breakfast baps and warming tea, coffee or juice whilst networking with other teams.
11.45am: Teams head to their designated tee in time for the 12-noon shotgun start, then enjoy the stunning course at their own pace.
Along the way, participants can test their skills in the longest drive, nearest the pin, and Beat the Pro competitions – the perfect opportunities to truly ‘putt’ your abilities to the test.
A refreshments buggy will swing by throughout the afternoon to ensure you are hydrated and on top form!
4.30pm: Entertainment, drinks and relaxed networking on the clubhouse balcony, followed by a two-course meal, prizes, raffle and auction.
All proceeds from the Acorns Corporate Golf Day will be going directly back to support our vital care and support services throughout the West Midlands and the Three Counties.
We will also be running a raffle and auction throughout the day with other smaller initiatives such as a Mulligan card to raise funds.

Interested in hiring a buggy?
There are a small number of buggies available at Walmley Golf Club, but it is essential these are booked and paid for in advance via the Club directly.
