Our 34 Reception and Admin Volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice teams at Acorns. As the first point of contact at the hospices, they are a friendly face and cheerful smile when welcoming families and visitors.
Our reception is often a very busy place, and our volunteers answer our telephones in a courteous and compassionate manner, directing calls and taking messages. Aside from telephone and reception duties they also assist with various administration tasks, ensuring that the admin team are well supported and that admin tasks are completed.
